WedlerFineArt is a collaboration about us, two artists, a plein air pair who travel the countryside together and paint en plein air -- Anne, in oils, and Edward, in watercolours. Our studio is mostly the great outdoors though we are not afraid to do artwork indoors.

Footsteps East is the launch pad to our two year, 5,000km painting trek, from Nova Scotia to Lake Superior, and back. Footsteps Farther East is about our journey to Newfoundland. We interpret landscapes similar to those that inspired Canadian artists Tom Thomson  and members of  "The Group of Seven". We direct you to our sketches, paintings, travel logs including maps, and videos.
