On the afternoon of the Thursday paintout, we decided to find another spot to paint, and we ended up at Houston’s Beach near Pereau ( not far from Blomidon Park). The tide was well out and the rocks sculpted by the sea were exposed. The sky was really dramatic over the Minas Basin, looking south east.
