Storm Over Chezzetcook

The sky was moody; the clouds roiling . The sea was a pewter-grey. The morning was a cool 17°C with a fresh northeast wind.  I had to anchor my easel down with a rock bag and I persevered.

Here, at the Chezzetcook Inlet near Seaforth, Nova Scotia, we painted in the late morning, en plein air. Luckily, the winds died down and we became accustomed to the temperature.
