Pictou Harbour Entrance

We were lucky enough to paint on the property of "The Kilted Chef" in Pictou. After a day of rain on Friday, Saturday morning was clear, cool and windy. The light in September has a wonderful clarity and the colours seem to sparkle! I was attracted to the sunlight on the entrance to the harbour, and the play of light and shadow down the hillside to the sea.
