Powdermill Lake

On a windy, cold day (8° C) we set up to paint at Powdermill Lake north of the Halifax. The Lake was a deep grey, so I painted it that way. The trees were beautiful shades of reds, oranges and yellows, contrasting well with the greens of the pine and spruce. The wind was so strong, I was grateful for the bag of rocks anchoring down my easel. Very grateful for the hot tea, to warm up my hands and body.
