To L'sitkuk (BearRiver)

I consider Bear River the "bohemian capital of Nova Scotia". Artists migrate to this rural community, sometimes from large urban centres, to cocoon themselves in there creative arts -- visual artists, writers, filmmakers, performing artists, foodies and more. The atmosphere oozes with a blend of arts and nature. Even the friendly Sissiboo Café supports the arts big time. Today, the Sissiboo displayed a wall-sized mosaic of portraits assembled by painter and printmaker, Eva McCauley. Anyone visiting Nova Scotia should mark Bear River a part of their journey. (nearby L'sitkuk approximately translates from Mi'kmaw as "water that cuts through high rocks")
