We'll, this is a painting I didn't finish in time to be in PIPAF 2022! I set off to paint on the beach near Partridge Island one evening. The sky was amazing and impossible to keep up with the constantly changing light. But, that's not the only thing that was changing fast...the tide was rolling in. I didn't finish my painting on location because I had to pack up and get myself and the car our of there before the tide swallowed up most of the beach, leaving me stranded on basically a sand bar overnight!
