Huron County Farmlands Ontario

Farmlands of southern Ontario are becoming dotted with large windmills. This change in landscape surprised me enough that I had to record that change in my plein air watercolour art. The scene is painted from sketches created near Goderich, Ontario.
This watercolour was painted as part of "Footsteps East"; a 5,000 km en plein-air painting trip from Nova Scotia to Northern Lake Superior, and back.
