Rising Tide

Tide levels reach 40+ feet in the Bay of Fundy. I started this painting at low tide. By the time I was done the intertidal channel had almost filled. Because the day was drizzling and raining I set up my hunter's blind so I could continue to paint. I thank my son for this gift. This was painted during the "Quickdraw Event" at the Parrsboro International Plein Air Festival.
