Fox River Meander

This was one of two competition entries into PIPAF 2025 (Parrsboro International Plein Air Festival).  Instead of looking downstream towards the estuary opening into the Bay of Fundy, I chose to look upstream on this dull day. I loved the meander of Fox River as it passed by the home on the bank. I imagine the distant hills to be on fire with colour in the fall.

To add to the mood, my horizon was cast in a "dirty" yellow.
