Forest Snowmelt

Winter walks through the woods are exhilarating and a constant source of inspiration. On the Hirckel Trail, I was struck by the snow’s lace-like patterns weaving through the pine needles. Capturing the harsh shadows and soft textures of this scene in watercolor was a complex puzzle I couldn't wait to solve.
