High Hills, Red Silt

The largest tides in the world ebb and flow twice daily in the Bay of Fundy and into the Fox River estuary. While on the cobbly barrier beach at the mouth of the Fox River, I looked upstream to capture the hills and red silt typical of the Cumberland County shoreline in the Bay of Fundy. My oil painting was created during the Parrsboro International Plein Air Festival.
