Safe Harbour Close

Hauling Cove (part of Deep Cove on the Aspotogan Peninsula of Nova Scotia) is well-protected from storms lashing the eastern seaboard of North America. The signpost in my watercolour painting reads Safe Harbour Close. This picturesque cove has reportedly provided anchorage to sailing vessels much larger than the Bluenose II.

This morning we chose a higher vantage point to take in the beauty of the scene. Each residential unit sits uniquely on a piece of land to -- likewise -- take in the beauty of the scene.
