Yet again we had another remarkable November day to paint -- a stunning 21°C, sunny and little wind. How long will our luck hold out before the gales of November strike? As we entered the village of Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia, my mind was made up within 15 seconds. This scene immediately attracted my eye. The curve in the unpaved road wound up towards the church. Neutral-coloured buildings clustered to the right and balanced the scene.
As a mathematician, I would say that Peggy's Cove was designed on the Fibonacci spiral. In every direction, there is something to attract the eye and to paint.
