Route 2 on George Street

Exit the Halifax Ferry Terminal, walk past the Dockyard Clock and Tim Horton's, and you will see the Citadel at the end of George Street. The area offers bountiful vistas for urban sketching and painting. Because of the weather, I painted this scene at home. It's not so much the -2°C temperatures that gnaw at me. It's the wind the chills me to the bone that grates. We have often visited this location as a paint-out site for our HRM plein air artist's group. Hopefully, 2021 will be kinder to us.
