Saltwater Inlet

On a beautiful June morning, we set out to paint at the Salt Marsh Trail. This trail extends along the old rail bed, crossing the 2.5km of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia. The Salt Marsh Trail is part of the Trans-Canada Trail system. The trail has wonderful inlets, rocky outcrops, islands with big pines and spruce trees. I set up to paint the beautiful pink-grey granite rocks, and the reflections as the tide was receeding.
