Tennecape near Burnt Coat Head

Burnt Coat Head Park, Nova Scotia, witnesses some of the highest tides in the world. Surprisingly, more water flows daily in and out of the Bay of Fundy near here than flows daily through all the rivers in the world, combined. We took a detour off the main road to the Tennecape Wharf Road where this vista presented my painting composition.
My challenge was to interpret all these greens in a coherent fashion, including the yellows of the goldenrod in the foreground.
OK, here is a decadent story. Never before have I travelled for over 13km to a cafe that advertised their ice cream on a small sign beside the road. At the Tennecafe, I treated myself to Peanut Butter Mudslide. Anne had Mariner's Seasalt Caramel.
