This was a beautiful day and we set out to paint in the coastal town of Prospect. I set up my easel and was attracted to a small part of the cove. The grey granite was encircled by orange seaweed as the tide was going out. My attempt to capture the scene with bold colour and bold brushwork resulted in this painting. After painting, we had a picnic and walked the trail around the peninsula. The water is crystal clear, and we explored the shore, many rocks, seaweed, Periwinkles, etc.
