On our camping trip in August, atop of Cape Blomidon, I painted this painting on our first evening. The light was beautiful in the late afternoon and the sun illuminated the golden fields in Pereau. Beyond the tall evergreen trees, I could see the Minas Basin ( part of the Bay of Fundy) and in the distance the "South Mountain" of the Annapolis Valley.
