Fisherman's Cove Morning

Fisherman's Cove offers visitors a taste of a working fishery mixed with quaint shacks, a coastal boardwalk and a nearby provincial park. Families explore the sandy cove for treasures. Gulls' cries break the air. Today was gusty and sunny. While in the shade of lobster traps and out of the wind, I painted the Heritage Centre.

The colourful flower beds contrasted with the grey of the large shingled structure. I painted along with seven other members of the Plein Air Artists of HRM who were also painting, scattered about The Cove.
