ThePuddle

We went to paint near Cleveland Beach Provincial Park but the morning fog had us relocate 800 m up the road to this scene of a footbridge over "The Puddle".  What appealed to me was seeing the light enter under the bridge from a featureless background. The trees had minimal definition.

Painting in fog turned out trickier than expected as the paint dried slowly. I'm used to the opposite challenge of paint drying too fast. 

In order to give a sense of mist or fog I painted loosely and limited my colours.
