Seafoam Lavender Fields

Seafoam Lavender Fields and Gardens is located in rural Nova Scotia on the Northumberland shore. One can see Prince Edward Island about 17 km across the strait. Flowers were in full bloom. Because of forecasted rain and thunder on Thursday, we chose to drive a day ahead of that storm. We were in luck. Sunshine lit the fields. After our paint-out, we picnicked with our plein air friend under the shelter. Of course, one cannot leave without a visit to the aromatic lavender shop. Last year I bought lavender jelly. This year I bought lavender-herbed tea leaves.
